Pre-Book Winter’s Tail Tickets

Winter’s Tail at Chessington World of Adventures will be held on 22-23, 29-30 November and 6-7, 12-24, and 26-31 December 2025.

Chessington and Merlin Annual Passholders can easily book Winter's Tail through Chessington's website. Explore ticket options, check availability, and secure your ticket for Winter's Tail. 

Winter's Tail cannot be booked using the Merlin Annual Pass Pre-Book Portal.

When looking at dates your pass type is valid to access Winter’s Tail, your pre-book gives you entry to Winter’s Tail. This includes access to the Theme Park (a selection of rides and attractions only), Zoo and SEA LIFE Aquarium. You will still need to scan your valid Annual Pass to gain access to the attraction.  

If you’d like to add the Christmas Village experience to your booking, this is available at an additional cost. The Christmas Village includes meeting Father Christmas in his Grotto and a trip to Enchanted Hollow: Toy Workshop, where the cheeky Elves are busy getting all of the toys ready for Christmas.

You won’t be able to book tickets for Winter’s Tail through the Portal. As Winter’s Tail has a variety of different pre-book requirements specific for just Chessington World of Adventures, the booking of Winter’s Tail with an Annual Pass is directly through the Chessington website only.  

Yes, select passes do have some exclusions when visiting Winter’s Tail.

Yes, you can enjoy Chessington's Winter's Tail without visiting the Christmas Village. Your Passholder entry only ticket grants access to the Theme Park (select rides and attractions), Chessington Zoo and SEA LIFE. If you wish to experience the Christmas Village, including meeting Santa, you can upgrade your entry ticket. Pre-book your Christmas Village tickets in advance to guarantee entry.

Great news, when booking a short break through Merlin Holiday Club you don’t need to pre-book your tickets! PLUS, with a Merlin Holiday Club short break for Winter’s Tail we also include your ticket entry to the Christmas Village too, so you do not need to pre-book this separately or upgrade your booking.  

Yes, on select dates you can purchase an upgrade day ticket to visit on an restriction date for Winter’s Tail for an additional ticket cost per person. To do so, simply follow the steps to pre-book on exclusion days in the booking journey.  

Not all restricted dates are available to book for all pass types.   

Should an Annual Passholder require assistance on their visits to our attractions, we issue one complimentary pass per Passholder to be used by any carer - this is transferable between carers. Please head here to find out more. 

There are several reasons why you may be struggling to add your pass. 

• You may have entered your Pass number incorrectly, so please re-enter your number and try again. 

• Your Pass may have expired and be outside of the validity period. 

We’re not running an Early Booking Offer for Annual Pass pre-books, as entry on valid dates is included within your pass dependant on visit date. There is no offers currently available on the Christmas Village.
