All guests will need to arrive at the Chessington Resort Hotel at 17:00 on Friday 11th April.

Guests will take part in exclusive ride time on Vampire once the park has closed, followed by dinner in Vampire Burger Kitchen.

Following this, guests will then take part in behind-the-scenes tours around Vampire and Tomb Blaster. 

Saturday 12th April

All guests will need to arrive at the Chessington Resort Hotel at 12:00 on Saturday 12th April.

Lunch timeslots are at 12:00, 12:15, 12:30 and 12:45, you will be asked to select your lunch time during the booking process.

For lunch times between 12:00 & 13:00, your Q&A session will happen after your lunch at 14:00. 

Friday 11th April

Guests will need to be a minimum of 7 years old to attend and take part in the experience. Guests ages 7 to 17 years will need to be accompanied by a full paying adult aged over 18 years old.

Saturday 12th April

There is no minimum age limit to attend this event, however every attendee with need their own full priced ticket. Children under 18 years old will need to be accompanied by a full paying adult over 18 years old.

I’m parking in Explorer Entrance; how do I get to the Safari Hotel?

If entering the Resort via Explorer Entrance, make yourself known to Admissions staff and once the park has opened, they can guide you to the Safari Hotel. Please ensure you have your hand stamped in order to gain re-admission to the Resort when exiting through Lodge Entrance to enter the Safari Hotel.

Is there an age limit for entering the contest?

Yes, the fancy dress contest is open to children ages 6-15 years old, and must be accompanied by an adult (18+).

Do I need a valid Chessington entry ticket to take park?

Yes, to take part in the competition you must have a valid entry ticket to Chessington dated for Friday 11th April 2025. 

Where is the contest taking place?

The fancy dress contest will be held in the Serengeti Suite in the Chessington Safari Hotel at 10:15 on Friday 11th April.

Are there any rules on what costumes are allowed?

Yes, entrants must be wearing a recognisable Vampire costume. Costumes must not be inappropriate and must adhere to the Terms and Conditions of entry to Chessington.

• All VIP experiences are non refundable and non transferable. ​​
• Any discounts can not be applied after purchase and partial refunds will not be given. ​​
• ​A promotional discount can not be applied on top of pre-existing discounts (e.g. Annual Pass). ​​

• Adventurers must meet the heigh requirements in order to take part in the exclusive ride time on Vampire - Adventurers must be a minimum height of 1.1m tall to ride. Adventurers between 1.1m and 1.3m must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+.
• Entry into the Theme Park & Zoo is NOT included.

Introduction 

• These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Vampire 35th Birthday Children’s Fancy Dress Promotion ("Vampire Costume Competition") at Chessington World of Adventures Resort.
• By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility 

• The competition is open to all visitors of Chessington World of Adventures Resort on the 11th April 2025.
• To qualify, participants must attend the Serengeti Suite at the Chessington Safari Hotel (at Chessington World of Adventures Resort) at 10:15am on Friday 11th April in a recognisable vampire costume and hold a valid entry ticket for the day of their visit.
• The promotion is open to children aged between 6 and 15 years old. Note that the minimum height requirement to ride Vampire is 1.1 metres.
• Entrants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old and have their consent to enter the promotion. 

How to Enter 

• Entry into the promotion is automatic upon arrival to the Serengeti Suite in the Safari Hotel at Chessington World of Adventures Resort in vampire costume at 10:15 am on 11th April.
• Costumes must be appropriate, suitable for wearing on the rides, family-friendly, and in line with Chessington World of Adventures Resort Terms & Conditions of Entry, found here: https://www.chessington.com/legal/terms-conditions/. 
• Chessington World of Adventures Resort reserves the right to refuse entry to participants with costumes deemed inappropriate or, at Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s sole discretion, unsuitable or in breach of its Terms & Conditions of Entry.
• The chosen winners are at the sole discretion of Chessington World of Adventures Resort Staff, who have the right to refuse a competition entry if the costume is not deemed as qualifying or appropriate.
• The competition will start at the advertised time and late arrivals cannot be accommodated.

Prize Details

• The winner will receive four Ultimate 8 Reserve and Ride passes for themselves and three additional people. Up to three children can be part of each group of four. Each group must include at least one adult over 18 years old.
• The Ultimate 8 Reserve and Ride passes will enable the winner and 3 extra people, one-time FastTrack entry to eight attractions including Croc Drop, Dragon’s Fury, Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, Mandrill Mayhem, Rattlesnake, Tiger Rock, Tomb Blaster, and Vampire. Subject to ride availability.
• A maximum of four fast track passes will be awarded per family or group. If the group number exceeds four people the remaining members of the group will be able to purchase fast track passes on the date of visit if desired.
• The Ultimate 8 Reserve and Ride is valid only on the day of issue and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded.
• The Ultimate 8 Reserve and Ride is subject to ride availability and operational conditions.
• The Prize excludes entry to the Resort and travel to and from the Resort.
• The promotion is limited to a total of 100 Ultimate 8 Reserve and Ride passes.

General Terms 

• Chessington World of Adventures Resort reserves the right to modify or cancel the competition at any time without prior notice.
• Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s decision regarding eligibility, costumes, and prize allocation is final and not subject to appeal. 
• The winner of this prize may be asked to participate in promotional activity on Chessington World of Adventures Resort’s social media channels - note, that by entering into this promotion you agree to have your full name released as the winner.
• Chessington World of Adventures Resort is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation in the Competition. 
• Entry to the promotion is restricted to one entry per group of four. 
• This prize can only be used as stipulated and is non-transferable, non-negotiable and no cash alternative will be offered.
